In partnership with people with disabilities, Cheshire Homes provides a variety of services for adults with severe permanent disabilities.
ADULTS
Residential accommodation and support service for person who are socially active and who do not require permanent frail care.
EMPLOYMENT
Employment opportunities, both within and outside Cheshire Homes.
TRANSPORT
Special vehicles with ramps or hoists designed to provide secure transport for wheelchair users. With the resources available, Cheshire Homes endeavor to provide the best care possible to people with disabilities.

Cheshire Home Summerstrand has introduced a Day Care/Short Term Stay service for disabled persons. The service is provided at Cheshire Home Summerstrand and will include:
• Available care and support through the experienced care giving staff headed by the Head of Care.
• We would take charge of any medication requirement during the course of the day.
• Three meals as required: breakfast, lunch, supper.
• Mid-morning and mid-afternoon tea.
• Opportunity as offered to our residents of the Home e.g. arts & crafts, disability golf etc.
• Entertainment as offered for the residents of the Home.
• The chance for social interaction with other disabled persons at the Home.
Cheshire Home Summerstrand offers full residential services for 57 physically disabled persons (applicants from age 18 to 55).
Our residential service includes:
Each resident has his/her own room.
Available care at all times.
All meals.
Laundry.
Entertainment / Activities.
Medical Assistance.
Independent Living:
We currently have 4 life right cottages, 2 semi-independent cottages and four flats for disabled persons. These facilities allow the resident to prepare meals, make decisions about their needs, and take greater responsibility for their own care and support.
We offer entrepreneurial opportunity and skills training in a number of fields.
